Eat well and overcome allergic rhinitis

Allergy is not a disease? Children often sneeze continuously after waking up, complaining of itchy, stuffy and runny nose, but parents don’t care, or even take it for granted because they have the same symptoms. The number of families with allergic rhinitis like this is increasing in recent years in Taiwan. Many people know that there is something wrong with their body, but they cannot figure out what is wrong. In fact, the bad habit of eating may be the source of the disease.

Allergic rhinitis actually represent a lack of yang in the body. Dr. Sheng-Pu Lee, a Chinese medicine doctor, said that from the point of view of Chinese medicine, the human body is a gaseous body, and people with allergies have a yin and liquefied body. Insufficient Qi chemistry, naturally, lead to all kinds of diseases.

What does it means by insufficient qi? According to Chinese medicine, the human body relies on qi to counteract the weight of the body. If a person has sufficient yang qi, he or she will feel light and energetic; conversely, when the body has insufficient qi, it will naturally cause various allergies.

The bad habit of eating is the key, Dr. Sheng-Pu Lee pointed out that many people eat quickly, swallowing without fully digested, lacking proper chewing, the secretion of saliva becomes less, the absorption of nutrients produces less yang, coupled with the bad habit of drinking cold drinks while eating, destroying the temperature of eating measured, affecting the brain’s ability to calculate calories, unable to produce a sense of satiety, the body accumulates too much heat that can not be transformed into body yang, resulting in a high level of body yin.

When people’s body is full of yin, either overactive children or has obese problems, Chinese medicine explained is, overactive children because the body is not enough yang, so must rely on non-stop movement to maintain body temperature; and obese children, the body is also insufficient yang, love to sleep, dizzy, do not like to wear clothes even sneezing and cold, feel fever all over the body, but is the accumulation of excessive heat, the body nutrients can’t transform to qi completely, became the formation of what Chinese medicine called the body yin fever, like the heat generated by compost.

The human body temperature has been heat dissipation, mainly in the fight against the outside wind and cold or temperature differences, Dr. Sheng-Pu Lee said, once lacking of the body surface of this layer of heat magnetic field to protect the body, the external temperature changes will directly interfere with the body’s nutrient gasification operation, if you eat too much, have too much heat, the lungs, nose and skin will not be enough heat dissipation, the nose will be stuffy nose, allergies.

The nose is like two chimneys that keep smoking and dissipating heat. Dr. Sheng-Pu Lee said that if the lung temperature drops and the nose temperature is not enough, the nose polyps will swell and there will be allergic rhinitis. Modern medical usually advice cut the polyps, but it actually violates the body’s natural regulation of temperature because as long as the lung temperature is sufficient, the polyps will naturally shrink.

If you do a small experiment close your breath for a minute without breathing, you can immediately feel the temperature of the lungs gradually rise, the nasal polyps naturally shrink, the mucous membrane of the nose naturally opens, and the air will slowly flow into the lungs.

Dr. Sheng-Pu Lee emphasized that improving allergies starts with improving the body’s constitution. Only when the body’s nutrition and gasification are good can truly treat the root cause of all diseases, including diabetes, high blood pressure and hypertension.
